Candle Holder Class 2017-Cancelled

Learn how to make a candle holder to enter in the Fall Conference contest.

Unload tools 8 am, class starts at 9 am
The students will be making a pair of dished iron base with a copper candle holder. Candles will be provided.
Tools list – center punch, medium ball peen hammer, cold chisel, domed hammer, tongs for 1/8” flat, bolt jaw tongs for 5/8” – ¾”, grinder with cutoff wheels, wire brush, anvil hold down, combination square, tape measure, soapstone, and other favorite tongs and hammers.
Optional tools – 1” bottom swage or V bottom swage, post vise, and gas forge.

Here is your opportunity to learn the art of candle holder making early enough to design and make your own for the fall conference contest.
