Hobo nickels

Unread post by Jim Ericksen » Sat Jun 21, 2014 9:38 pm

Hey all

Not sure how hobo nickels haven't been discovered by me earlier , are there any members that have dabbled in it ? If so I'd like to hear about it ... Perhaps at a future guild meeting

Jim,

Thanks for bringing this to the group's attention. I had never heard the term "hobo nickle" before.

For the others that have never heard of these, here is the Wikipedia entry: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hobo_nickel

and here are a bunch of good photos from the Hobo Nickle Society: http://www.hobonickels.org/

Regards,

Darryl
