Thanks to everyone who participated last Saturday! We had a good time and a good pour - and some really nice pieces were cast. Photos coming soon. -- Marty

Here are some pics of the results Oct. 4th. Great group, great time. We melted and poured around 90 pounds of bronze, and as usual, everyone learned something! Thanks to all who participated.

The Hammer Fairy? What do I have to put under my pillow to get a visit from her? ;)

Looks like a good pour.

The most effective way to guarantee a visit from the Hammer Fairy involves a night of heavy drinking before hand....Duh!

Another story goes that in the olden days, when children made their first punches through hot metal, they put the slug under their pillow, when they woke up the next morning, the Hammer Fairy had left them a new hammer!
