Hi all

With the recent completion of my gas forge I no longer need to drag out the rivet forge with the cooperation of Mother Nature

I'm extremely excited to set up a better forging station and use more of the tools I've acquired over the years

Here's a few pictures of my work in progress

Nice set-up Jim! It is going to be great for your hammering convenience.

You weren't lying when you said that saw maker's anvil was too low!

I think we need to do a hammer and tong rack design/build project in the near future. We both need one.

Jim, that is a nice looking shop. I'd love to come over for a tour sometime. I think I Dick Carlson has a really nice hammer and tongs rack in his shop that is on wheels. I took a picture of it at one time because I had visions of making one like it. I need to find it and figure out how big, or how small, to make it. If you do a build, I'd love to be a part of it.

While it's definitely not the first cut this power hacksaw has made it's the first one in my shop

I've upgraded my hammer / tong storage from the table to a new rack I threw togather from the scrap bin at work
