Hello From Watertown

Unread post by kniff429 » Wed Sep 14, 2016 11:09 am

Hello everyone,

My name is Kenny I have been smithing a little over a year. Built my 2nd propane forge this spring. Finally was able to get logged in here and make a post. I am a full time paramedic and father of 3 girls(soon to be 4) like to get out to my forge as much as possible.

Kenny,

Great photos! Thanks for sharing with the group.

I really like that U-shaped forge. How did you build it?

The forge is a nice 3/8 plate top cart I made it's got 3" 3/16" angle on it. 1/2" of sand under the insulated bricks. 3" kaowool on the top covered with plistix. 3x6" ribbon burner with 164cfm blower using propane. I'd add more pictures but unable to do so

To add more photos, open a new topic under "forges" and describe your forge in text and add some more photos.

The system is set for a maximum number of five attachments per post.
