I have always wanted to get some floor mats to stand on when I'm working at my bench. All the usual places want way too much for them, so I haven't bought them. But last weekend I was in the Menards store in Oakdale picking up some garden stuff, specifically a pad to put under our new rain barrel. I happened to see a stack of 2' x 2' recycled rubber patio pads that you install on a concrete patio deck. They have a paver look pressed into them. They are about a half inch thick, and came in twp colors. I brought two of them home and threw them down in front of my little mill and my grinder. I can't believe the difference they make. And all for $8.99 each. Money well spent as far as I'm concerned, and standing on the concrete doesn't hurt me so much now.
