Setting up a DIGEST - web forum activity summary email

Unread post by Darryl Ponder » Thu Mar 07, 2013 11:17 am

The web forum has a "digest" feature that will allow you to have a summary sent of recent posts to the web forum. This is a good way to keep up to date with what is going on without having to log in often.

By default I have now turned the digest feature OFF upon registration (for all registrants on March 8, 2013 or later). This is so new users don't get unwanted emails sent to them.

If you want a digest sent , and it is recommended, simply log in, click on "user control panel" (upper right of the front page), then go to "Digests" towards the lower left of the pane that opens after you click on the user control panel button.

Here you can set up a digest to be sent to your email daily, weekly or monthly and select those areas of the Guild's web forum that you want summarized and sent to you.

You can always turn this DIGESTS feature OFF for your account by going into the UCP (user control panel)/Digests and turning it off.
