First "anvil"
About 2.5 hours of sanding by hand. Little ways to go but a significant improvement. =]

Geez Nathan. If I had known you were going to go after it by hand I would have cleaned it up with an angle grinder and flap wheel first. A couple minutes chould have saved you a bunch of time.

I thought that piece of steel looked "Martinesque". I've got one just like it.

"Martinesque?" Heh. I think I like the idea of having my name associated with a chunk of good second-hand steel. Sure beats what the Plato fellow got his name associated with...
