They will hold pipe of nearly any size by one edge vs having one for each size of pipe that you might work with. They will also hold just about any size material. DESCRIPTION: Instructors: Jesse Gavin\, Dave Gavin\, others \nClass size: Max 8\, Min 4 \nAre you tired of bending over to pick up that dropped tool or hammer? Yes? Then this is the class for you. We will be leading a class to make a hammer rack with a table top where you can place all of those things that seem to always end up on the floor. \nThis is a project class to be taken after the Intermediate Joinery 1 class. The successful student will slot punch and drift ~13 holes to pass ½” square stock through and assemble a hammer rack with a table top. The table is one foot by two feet. Other sizes can be arranged if planned ahead of time. IF you want the table to be the same height as your anvil – please bring that height. \nThe slot punching will be done in a different way from what was taught in the Joinery class – we will use a treadle hammer. Then this is the class for you. We will be leading a class to make a hammer rack with a table top where you can place all of those things that seem to always end up on the floor. \nThis is a project class to be taken after the Intermediate Joinery 1 class. The successful student will slot punch and drift ~13 holes to pass ½” square stock through and assemble a hammer rack with a table top. The table is one foot by two feet. Other sizes can be arranged if planned ahead of time. IF you want the table to be the same height as your anvil – please bring that height. \nThe slot punching will be done in a different way from what was taught in the Joinery class – we will use a treadle hammer. DESCRIPTION:Instructors: Jesse and Dave Gavin\nLocation:     Dave Gavin’s shop\, N6768 720th street\, Beldenville WI 54003 (map link below)\nClass size: 8 students max.\nGoal of this class is to create a bell from the clanger on up to the handle. Will also include a knot primer! Plan on a long day. Students will have the opportunity to choose from 3 handle types – over hand knot\, square knot\, or one of their own design. You will learn how to forge pipe\, use a treadle hammer\, tie a knot in round stock\, and have fun with your fellow blacksmiths.\nTools: gas forge and propane\, anvil\, vise\, grinder (sanding discs and cutoff wheel)\, tongs – various\, and a guillotine fuller with top and bottom dies.
