Whether you’re a seasoned blacksmith or a beginner eager to learn\, this event is all about forging\, sharing skills\, and having a great time with fellow smiths. \nSchedule of Events \nFriday\, June 6 \n3:30 PM – Early arrival & setup \n4:30 PM – Late Night – Open forge \nSaturday\, June 7\, June Member Meeting \nAll Day Forging \n12:00 PM – Potluck & Business Meeting – Bring a dish to share if you can. \nAfternoon – Blind Forging Competition \nChallenge: Feel an object inside a box and forge it without looking! \nRules: Time limit applies. This year there will be a regular business meeting scheduled at the same time! Details forthcoming and what a way to jam pack a full day with friends and family!\nThe blind forging competition will return on Saturday afternoon. The goal will be a friendly forge off. \nThe rules: \n\nAn object is placed inside a box and you must create (forge) the unknown object by what you can feel. No peeking!\nWe usually do a time limit with this as well.\nPrizes to be announced!\n\nWe will focus our efforts on the Fall Conference contest: Check page 2 in this Forum for what that is. If you want to work on skills or another project\, that’s ok! \nCome and hang out with a bunch of your friends\, make new friends\, and share/learn some new skills.
