Pipe Tongs Class

Pipe Tongs 1-day Class

Saturday, January 24th, 2026, 8am – 4:30pm

Location: MN School of Horseshoeing (see map below)

Instructor: Dave Gavin

Cost: Members $100, non-members $130

Class size: Maximum 8 (minimum 4)

Class Description: This years tongs are what I’m calling pipe tongs. They will hold pipe of nearly any size by one edge vs having one for each size of pipe that you might work with. They will also hold just about any size material.
FYI – these work really well for working on bells once the end has been flared out, as the jaws will reach over and not damage the flaring as you work on the rest of the bell.
