2023 Pre-Conference Class project
Class limit: Max 10
Cost: $200 for members, $240 for non-members
Class Description: This year’s pre-conference class will be making decorative hinges. Glenn Horr, one of our 2023 Fall Conference demonstrators, will be showing us the secrets to making decorative and workable hardware based on his years of experience.
Tools & Equipment students should bring to class: Anvil and forge, tongs for flat stock (box jaw for 1-1/4″ stock), cross peen hammer, 1/4” hole punch, center punch, hot cut chisel. optional: rounded edge chisel ,wire brush.
Safety: Ear protection and goggles.
Lunch: bring a lunch or dine at one of the local establishments in Ellsworth.
