Open Forge Plus One in October 2026
The Education Committee is offering a Free Open Forge for Guild Members alone or with a Plus One. If you bring a “Plus One” you will share a forge/anvil station. There are eight forges available for our membership to use. There is no lesson or agenda except to get some iron hot and hit it with a hammer. You can reserve a forge via our website sign-up or by sending Harvey Steele an email, and we will hold a forge for you until 10:00 am. If you just want to stop by and hang out, you are welcome to do so. If there’s space at a forge, have at it. This is an excellent opportunity to hang out with and learn from fellow smiths. Beginners are welcome and there are generally people around that can answer questions or provide assistance.
