Class Manager: Laurel Larkin 651-955-9379 frogwench@comcast.net
Class size: Maximum students: 8 Minimum students: 6
Class Description: Ready to unleash your inner blacksmith? Todays the perfect day to give it a try – no experience, secret skill, or Viking ancestry required. We’ve crafted this workshop specifically for newcomers. If you know which end of the hammer to hold, you’re already ahead of the game. With iron glowing in the forge and an anvil waiting for your command, you’ll create take home treasures: a drive hook, an S-hook or an entirely new species of metal object formed through enthusiasm and questionable geometry.
Bring your creativity, your curiosity, your safety glasses (if you have some), and your natural fiber clothing. We’ll take care of the rest – tools, material, guidance, and plenty of encouragement to whack hot metal responsibly.
